Looks like we've got a new Dr. Death. Dr. Thomas Shaknovsky was supposed to remove a man's spleen. He fucked up and removed his liver instead, causing the patient to crash and die. Rather than admit the mistake, he labeled the extracted liver as a spleen in an effort to hide what he did, and tried to convince all the other doctors and nurses that he removed the spleen, and that the patient died of an aneurysm.

And this wasn't his first mistake. He had a long record of surgical errors that lead to complications, necessary corrective surgeries, and deaths. I don't really understand how a doctor can be so incompetent, dishonest, and unethical and continue to be allowed access to patients. I think this is a pretty clear indicator of a fucked up system that needs immediate improvement. #blog
